Mike Ford Talks About the Upcoming Races That the No. 9 Car Dominated Last Season

Bill Elliott had a very successful season in 2002, winning both the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis and the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono. Now, Elliott is gearing up to return to the two tracks where he triumphed last year.
On July 24, the man who maintains Elliott's outstanding machines, crew chief Mike Ford, spoke to Lee Montgomery of Turner Sports Interactive about safety and technical issues for the upcoming events and the challenges of maintaining high performance in cars during successive races and years.
